Welcome to the consultation process for the TOAH-NNEST Tauiwi Caucus Project that aims to National Standards for Facilitators of Primary Prevention of Sexual Violence and Training Package.

The vision so far is:
The current sector has ownership and leadership in developing and supporting a highly skilled and effective workforce, that are integrated and aligned with the values base of the Sexual Violence Sector.

We see this as a great opportunity to start sharing our knowledge, expertise and our vision for creating a world that is sexual violence free, and wee hope this practice continues beyond the scope of this project.

We encourage volunteers, facilitators, educators, supervisors, coordinators and managers to have input in this project, this is a complex problem to solve and we need multiple viewpoints to achieve the best outcome.

To support this process we have come up with the following guidelines (please feel free to add and suggest amendments)

• Remember our common purpose of ending sexual violence

• Always strive to add value to every interaction and discussion you participate in

• Stay On-topic

And, remember to avoid:

o Name-calling

o Ad hominem attacks

o Knee-jerk contradiction

o No Self-promotion
