Tool Library Expansion

The tool library is growing and needs more space, right now it's kind of just subtly nudging it's borders outwards but recently this has changed to taking over new areas

Lets try and figure out something where we all have enough space, funds etc

Move some member storage upstairs so ALoT can use shelves near rope

Outside shed

Setup shared tools shelf so ALoT and Hackland don't really compete for space, but tricky to manage this maybe

Setup some kind of space% * rent function

Generally in favour of ALoT growing but want to balance it with keeping Hackland good and being able to pay rent or save for a bigger space for all the citizens to thrive in

Specifically how much extra space do they need?

Is another option to expand sideways toward the bathroom door and move the bandsaw and tools there... somewhere else?

The upstairs backroom seems most under utilised so makes sense to use for storage... with proper shelving setup.

shelves near the rope could be cleaned a lot, there’s plenty of open space nearer the front and a lot of boatjunk that’s been there for years and could be trashed. given that alot is actually useful and actively used and boatjunk isn’t...

It’s great the ALoT are expanding, I wonder how big ALoT will get (will it ever stop expanding). It’s great that ALoT are able to use the Hackland space as well, but I don’t see that giving more room to ALoT within Hackland is sustainable for Hackland. A shed immediately outside HL could work, also a tool sharing shelf could work too.

Hey people, just seeking general feedback and thoughts on the library building a small shed with green roof atop the white gravel adjacent hackland 1. We would like to store bulkier items there, such as lawnmowers and trailers. There is currently a bunch of stuff there that doesn't seem too precious, although I don't want to assume, via of it may be part of someone's project? We would of course check in with neighbors, body corp, if necessary, but I'd like to know how members feels free this proposal first.
