Start our own poll of smaller parties?

Yeah but if you do a poll you have to put all 16 parties into the poll, otherwise the question becomes "which SMALL party do you like" and would not be indicative.

Yes, get someone to host a debate amongst smaller parties, I don't see how that would fail to entertain the masses so therefore a good idea.

Do we have anybody willing to follow through on this?

I think we would all have to band together on it. It wouldn't essentially be to hard to come up with some sort of policy site but doing a poll of say a thousand people would require all the parties putting a few people on it for a day, an agreed methodology, and using random phone numbers out of the phone book.

Same failing that way as the other polls though, not all people have landlines. Internet might be a better medium. Facebook would have the most coverage.

This is a priority for me to organise but it'll be after this weeks event (tonight) is out of the way, and our Party list submitted to the electoral commission. Then we'll wipe the floor with these sites by developing something infinitely better in a tiny fraction of the time.

Another idea on this. You could set up an ad to be served from the site that other sites could place on theirs.

In explanation. I have been talking to an ad guy about the need for ethical ads. All the ad agencies seem to have a heap of ads trying to get you to do stuff but I believe an ad server that got you to join causes you believe in would be more effective.

In this case, if you supported the smaller parties having a say, please insert this HTML in your wordpress widget, etc....and so on.

Its been a looong time since I saw an ad.
