Wairarapa Eco Farms' pick up evening

DMS Deepa-Rose M. Sealy Public Seen by 28

W.E.F proposes to use the Tory st space as a vege pick up on Thursday evenings from 5.15-6.45 approx. This would have to be available every week and initially we would also like to hold film screenings/talks biweekly, perhaps increasing up to weekly if popular.

We would provide tory street with a koha of approx $10 and ask for a koha from those attending to add to this further. We could only make this a viable spot for drop offs if we had at least 7 or 8 people, and preferably more. So far we have only one expression of interest from a member, but because it is such a central location we would hopefully pick up many more members.

Before we could commit, we would need to have this confirmed. Perhaps this idea/CSA promotion could be circulated around Tory St and associated Networks email lists prior to this being confirmed.

so a follow up.

talked to matt; he said the empty crates get picked up when the full ones get dropped off every thursday afternoon.

is that okay?

So are they suggesting that the crates would stay there for a week? At this point there is space for them, but in the future I think we're going to need a better plan or some better position to put them, especially if the numbers increase.

So the crates just got dropped off, not sure how they got in last week, and the courier picked up the old ones. There are only three this week, not sure how it will go tonight at the distribution. I guess we can try and find a place to store them during the week that is out of the way, but we'll need to make sure that it's not blocking too many entrances and whatnot.

so i gave a key to matt to give to the couriers a few weeks ago. hope that's okay with everybody?

they drop off the crates in the early afternoon efficiently.

shall pass on to matt that the crates need to be left in a better place. shall seek out a corner when i am minding the veges tomorrow evening.

Hey Rose, they have been dropping them off earlier and earlier. Today they were here before 9am. Last week at about 9.30am. It's fine though and the spot they're using, in the three-door section out the back doesn't seem a bother yet.

so two people didn't come to pick up their veges this evening. i am trying to get in touch with them, but in the meanwhile the veges are sitting at tory st on the couches as i didn't have enough arms to carry them home!
i should have dealt with them by tomorrow.
sorry about this.

on this thursday at the vege pick up i can only be at tory st till 5.50, so would it be okay if you could keep an eye on the veges while you are doing your class?

if not, i can find somebody else.

if so, thank you very much.
