Welcome to the Action Forum for The Alternative UK (main website and parent group on Loomio), supporting those who have signed up to us as "co-creators".
Our current priorities for action are gathered under the "SUBGROUPS" channel - see the activity there, and join the group that fits your passions and talents best.
(There will be a one-off question about "why you want to join this subgroup?" Just a wee test for good intent, and then you're permanently in).
On the parent A/UK group on Loomio, the "Threads" channel will display posts from subgroups you've joined. It'll show news updates from A/UK. And it'll be a "noticeboard" for all other business.
But we have set up the sub-groups so that people can really get stuck into the key challenges that have emerged from A/UK's first three years. We'd love you to deepen and enrich them, over the next 8-10 months at least.
Go kindly, patiently and constructively with each other - and let's begin to unbreak politics here!

Every fortnight on a Monday @5:30-7:00pm we meet on Zoom using this link. Upcoming dates are the 19th of April and 3rd of May. Agenda for the call is send out the Friday before. Recordings (video and sound) and chat boxes from previous calls are available to view in this Google Doc folder.
