100 Farms

100 Farms is an organisation dedicated to the propagation of urban farms, farming frameworks, tools and methodology throughout Nigerian cities.

We plan to use open source and cooperative systems to develop and share architectural designs for greenhouses (rooftop and ground-based), vertical farming, hydroponic agriculture, energy and rainwater collection systems, templates for building and running farming open cooperatives, and an information network for connecting farms, users, communities and investors.

We also plan to run farms directly, both as proof-of-concept showcases and sites for iterating the ideas we are sharing.

For now, our focus is on Lagos, Nigeria, but we are looking at all urban environments within Nigeria.
