WA Statewide Suicide Prevention Network
The WA suicide prevention network has been established as a tool to support a more connected suicide prevention community for Western Australia. The network enables connection between everyone involved in suicide prevention.
Individuals and groups will be able to connect, build relationships, ask questions and share good practice with this statewide site.
Members are encouraged to use the network for sharing place based knowledge and experience related to suicide research, news, prevention, intervention and postvention.
The governance group for the network acknowledges the traditional land owners across Western Australia and elders past, present and emerging. We also acknowledge all those who have been affected by suicide: the families, friends, survivors and those we have lost.
We also acknowledge the key work delivered by the WA Mental Health Commission; the custodians of the Suicide Prevention 2020 strategy for Western Australia: https://www.mhc.wa.gov.au/media/1220/suicide-prevention-2020-strategy-final.pdf
