Community of Practice in Cultural Diversity and Mental Health

Welcome. We are a community of like-minded workers who have conversations about cultural diversity and mental health, and share the successes and challenges we face when trying to put our learning and knowledge into practice in our roles within our workplace.

A Terms of Reference (TOR) guides the way we operate. It's important you familiarise yourself with this in order to understand the scope and purpose of this group. Registered member can access the TOR here. If you are interested in joining this group, please email us at [email protected] and we will forward you a copy of the TOR.

This online space is designed to compliment our face to face meetings. We post information about the CoP, including upcoming meeting information as well as using it to plan and discuss any special events we might decide to organise, or to attach and share documents related to discussions we have around particular topics that arise in our quarterly meetings.

The purpose of our Community of Practice is to promote better practice in the delivery of culturally safe and responsive mental health care.

This program commenced in 2020 and we continue to provide this space for working and learning together. If you have any queries, you can contact us on [email protected]
