Luxembourg Transition Platform

The Luxembourg Transition Platform is an emerging network of transition practitioners that are engaged in different ecological and social projects around the country.

Background
In 2014, some people from CELL and different Transition groups in Luxembourg took the initiative to connect within a Luxembourg network of transition practitioners more explicit and operational. The idea is that all the groups can easily share their experience, tools, contacts and projects with each other. One of the results of that process has been an agreement that CELL has recently signed with the Luxembourg Ministry of Sustainable Development and Infrastructure (MDDI). This network development work included a reflection on the current situation of Transition in Luxembourg. We noticed that there were many groups, and that some of them are attracting interest and public funds and getting involved in projects here and there. It has become important that we establish a coherent approach across transition-related individuals, groups, organisations and projects in order to best advance our movement and accomplish our aims.
