Our Policy Officer is looking for good examples of how worker co-ops have been extra-equitable during Covid 19. e.g. in their approach to furlough,? Through other solidarity and support for among their workers?
Any great examples prefeably from the larger co-ops like Suma, Essential, Delta-T Leading Lives etc

At Delta-T we have furloughed almost half the workforce for periods of 3 weeks at a time. In most cases, we have paired people up (by job function) and worked a one off, one on rota.
A few people have been on permanent furlough, and a few have had no furlough at all.
When people have been on furlough, the company has topped their wages up to 100% of pay so that no-one has lost money.
For the people who have had no furlough, they have been allocated an extra week's holiday next year.
