Registration process asks for peoples websites. Should we also allow members to add their website to a blogroll in the social coop wiki or about page?

I would be happy to go through social coop members websites and blogs, and I'm sure there's many members who have shared their website to social coop during the registration and would be happy to share it with me.

A simple blogroll would allow us to do that.

In the registration process new users are asked for their website, and should be given a choice whether to share it in the social coop blogroll or not.

Old members should be offered an option to add their site to the blogroll. If the blogroll would be in social coop wiki, we could allow old members to add themselves in the list simply by editing the wiki page.

Later on we could use lottery to change the order in the blogroll so that people won't always click among the blogs of the 50 first members or so.

Should we do this?

Would you be interested in having a blogroll of other social coop members or having your website added to such blogroll?

Should we use the about page, social coop wiki, both or something else?

I am not entirely sure which Working Group is most relevant for this. Let me know :).

Social coop asks members when they register whether they have a website. They should also be asked if they want it to be added into a blogroll. Old members should be also allowed to add their website to the blogroll.

We should add a blogroll

Would prefer it being added to the Wiki, with a link to the wiki article in about page. Members could share thoughts better and visitors to about page could read more deeply about thinking inside the social coop.

We should add a blogroll

Blogroll in the wiki, with a link from the about (or about/more) page.

We should add a blogroll

Works for me. The more resources we share, the better.

We should add a blogroll

I don't have a relevant website to add, but it would be nice to see the relevant websites of others! Perhaps a more complete (somehow categorised?) list on the wiki, and a shorter (lottery!) list on the about page.

We should add a blogroll

So long as it's not a pain for the admins who have to implement/moderate it.
