Hi Jane I missed the boat - I do know that Dave Richards is going, Tomas too I think. You have your business cards to take along! And hopefully some feedback following our launch of the Box.

Well it looks like reserve places only are available now for the 2-4 June Symposium. I only noticed it now! so I have just booked one (rather hastilly) and said I'd promote National Forest Garden Scheme, Forest Gardens 'in Boxes' and out into all sorts of spaces; also that I hope they cover Protecting forest and trees of the Savannah; & Combatting desertification in Africa via international links. Is someone already booked to go and promote NFGS?

A number of us in Oxford were able to attend the 'Linking people, nature, food and climate: progress and implications" with Dr David Nabarro at the Oxford Martin School. Such clarity, insight, generosity of spirit, underpinned by deep conviction and passion. Here is a link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=

I don't want to interrupt the thread but have no better place to post this. In parenthesis then  more places announced for Martin Crawford's International Symposium on Forest Gardens. They've extended it to 200 people: https://www.agroforestry.co.uk/registration/

HI Paul,

have a look at the reference section in my book, and also that of the Community Food Forest Handbook. Here are a few more I've found recently - the citations would need to be tidied up.

I did check over some of 'Biodiversity and Health in the Face of Climate Change' (a few of the many authors are local to us in Manchester). I will share my notes later - see https://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-3-030-02318-8?fbclid=IwAR21yd35hYbiCVMzttZ6gGDPwz5iiGu8uQWHYLSmj7bPKDJiQajXlOnM2gg

DEFRA Call for evidence. Dear all, Defra sees the urgent need to transform our food system. They say whether you’re "in the food business, a farmer, a food processor or an interested citizen, we want to hear from you" Earlier this year some we shared some very interesting evidence published in Sweden. Could you please post all studies you are aware of not yet posted to this thread. Happy to collate and test a summary with all of us before it's sent. Here's the announcement: https://twitter.com/DefraGovUK/status/1162658323952332801?s=20
