How messy will that get?

As long as they bring a tarp or something to protect the floors or walls (depending how they plan on painting it) it shouldn't be too messy. Is there a washbasin type sink on the 2nd floor that they could use for washing paintbrushes etc...? I'm happy to liase with them, I've just been helping a West Papau group do some flags, so could help out these guys too.

Ian can liaise this himself as he has a key and is part of a group that supports the place.

One thing to consider @iananderson is that we currently don't have access to the space as it is cordoned off. It might be a good idea to find another place for this event in case we still don't have access in two weeks as they're talking of the cordon taking about that long at this stage.

so I understand from the other thread we now have access @murdoch ?

we can put newspaper down etc, but a concrete space is much better than a carpeted space for banner painting, plus we'd be using a projector for the design, so there aren't many good alternative venues (with concrete + projector).

OK - well it is accessible to pedestrians now, though the road is still blocked to cars. That may not be the case when the actual demolition occurs but I would expect this would be able to go ahead. Probably best to think of a back up date to use the space if it can't be accessed for any reason.
