@Robert Guthrie, thank again, just noticed the PR https://github.com/loomio/loomio/commit/c514727ac56567779465662df81bea8453ecebfc. Amazed that you replied to this so quickly :)

I'm not in charge of the instance and cannot just move away. In case you're interested, the association hosting it is a french non-profit trying to promote libre tools: framasoft.org.

I do donate to framasoft but I couldn't find any way to donate to loomio itself, is it a possibility ?

@Luke i updated the product based on your request. Please consider using Loomio.com rather than a free option which does not support my work.

@Robert Guthrie Thanks a lot!

I have to ask though, is that an option for admins to do this or did you update the product?

I'm a user in another loomio instance, will this become available when the admin update the version or should I contact them?

@Luke thanks for mentioning it. I've added the ability to manually set the timezone in the edit profile page. Just uncheck autodetect time zone and you can select the zone you want.

The missing option to set your timezone in loomio is an issue for me. As far as I remember there was a discussion about asking what would be the point of that option, I can bring you one:

Firefox, when set to prevent tracking, will show the timezone as UTC to avoid leaking your location. And because Loomio takes it from the browser without allowing to override it, any datetime I see is wrong.

Could you consider making it possible to manually override the detected timezone?

@Robert Guthrie Thanks for your answer.

It is on loomio.com.

I tried the different layout options but it did not seem to do anything at all...

Hi @Peter Eid - ZD Nice, is this a thread on loomio.com or another server?

One thing to try is changing the thread layout from say.. nested to flat, and back again, sometimes that can help.

If not then I'll need to take a look at it myself.

Hi,

Posting here as, for a while, we have been encountering issues related to ordering and hiding of threads on a specific (admittedly quite large) discussion of our Loomio.

The former can be observed on the first screenshot; it is in French, but the dates are 11th Dec 2023, 12th Dec 2023 and then 23rd March 22! The discussion is ordered by "most recent first"...

The latter can be seen on the second screenshot; again it is in French but the banners signalling 'hidden' answers/threads display negative values and clicking on those (whether they have negative values or not) does not do anything.

Would you have any idea how to solve this situation? Many thanks!

minor issue i have noted for a while...

a few threads i pinned to top of frontpage migrate to top of page 2.

the keeping them current (and on front page) workaround is cumbersome...(unpinning,posting repinning)

any suggestions?
