Meeting Thursday April 11th

I met with a lawyer this morning who is very knowledgeable about trusts etc and was impressed with what we are doing. The main think I wanted was confirmation that legally we can get some people to contribute to the house purchase setup. This is fine however he was of the opinion that it would be better to do this by way of the trust itself rather than through a company to gain tax benefits. I had thought there was a problem combining the house purchase and the trust itself but he does not see this as a problem.
He thought cost for trust setup and legal stuff around the house including conveyancing would be perhaps as low as $1500 but prudent to allow $5000. This is less than I expected.
Perhaps I should discuss with you direct Tina, then you and the other trust people can come back to the group.
