Bandless/Ticketless Punters

  • Assess the situation, do they genuinely not have a ticket?
  • If they don't follow eviction procedure
  • If they have enough evidence of actually having a ticket escort them to gate to ratify
  • If gate is closed, take a photo/film of them and tell them they need to do it first thing in the morning. Take note of this in your site manager book.

I think people need to be asked to leave immediately if they have no wristband (unless they have lost thier wristbands). We dont need to waste time following or watching un -wristbanded people. If they don't have a ticket, they shouldnt be there. They should be asked to leave immediately and if they dont, we can ask security to politely escort them out.

The reasoning behind this process was that if they weren't causing any problems then quickly escalating it to removal could create alot more problems then it's worth, it doesn't need to take much time, say 10 minutes would be enough to see if they're going to listen or not, it's just to give them a chance to leave on their own which is alot less drama.

Secuirty have told us that the only way to remove someone from site is with there assistance to keep them where they are then the police to actually evict them. Do we really want to be calling Police in the middle of the night because of a non-problem causing gate crasher? I think if they don't leave by morning or if return latter we have reason, but it's trying to find the middle ground. I'm also completely open to the idea of kicking them out straight away, but it could cause unnecessary drama.

I think if someone is asked to leave and they have not left or or do not intend to leave in a reasonable manner or sooner rather than later (say 10 minutes), then security should be asked to escort them.
