What do you think about Duniter (crypto-currency) for the Pirate Party?

I just discovered Duniter (replaces uCoin), a crypto-currency project that is related to "Universal Dividend". See https://en.duniter.org/ and https://fr.duniter.org/ for more details.
This might be interesting to study this new currency and start a project on it, as some Crews work on UBI.

Having and using an alternative currency is an excellent idea. It will allow people to test and get a feel for it. They will almost currently have practical uses in future.

The problem with money is not the creating of money (everybody can create money) but the financial system and the attitude of people: We live in a system where having money makes more money. Interest rating, speculation, trading money at financial markets, the stock market makes that the wealthy gets wealthier and the poor getting more poor.
People are educated in competition to be the fastest, the richest. They search money all the time, to collect and search profit with it. Some people never have enough.
The fact that having money makes one exponential richer, is the problem.
A new value or a other new money don't gonna change a lot; it is the system and the mentality.
A local complementary currency can do more for helping of those who are most vulnerable.

Since I'm promoting a Global Universal BasicIncome the difficulty is in what currency and what value you can create that income.
After reading http://en.ucoin.io/ this project has a very fair view and seems very interesting to me, If they can avoid the dangers of people's greedy habitudes described here above.
The Ucoin could be perfect to give a global value to implement a basis income anywhere on this planet, if you could only buy time with it.

Just did some refresh because the uCoin projects changes his name and logo and is now called Duniter.
