Quoting for PLANET

Hope it's OK to post this here.
I'm interested to see if members of Co-Tech would be interested in helping to develop a high level brief for the required stages of development of PLANET and to quote to build it.
The purpose of this is threefold:
- To raise awareness of both the PLANET concept and Co-Tech - which seems like the perfect organization to be pushing to build something like PLANET...
- To develop more detail and discussion around the steps required to actually achieve something like PLANET
- To work out of this is something which could be crowd-funded / funded in some other way - since it is impossible to fund-raise for an unknown cost.
If this sounds like something you could help with please comment below or email me via [email protected] and I will work up a basic tech spec / stages doc to kick things off

You might be right... The Open Co-op actually has an instance of Discourse installed already https://discuss.open.coop/ but I started this thread here as I am keen to get feedback from people who are interested in Co-ops + Tech and to see if this could help CoTech get some publicity (for example, if I blog / issue Press Releases about the fact that CoTech think PLANET could be built for £xxx,xxx - that might create some noise)... Which might help Co-Tech win more work...
Did you have a specific instance of Discourse in mind?
(i.e am I missing something - is there a Discourse focused on this kind of co-op / tech dev somewhere?)
A few others have replied off-list so I will update this thread with further thoughts

I think Discourse might be the right place to discuss this now. Loomio's now focused on governance-related stuff, and things which are primarily about proposals/decisions.
Discourse is also open to people who are interested in Co-ops + Tech where as this is only open to members of CoTech co-ops, so you will probably get a broader set of opinions there too.
