Brief summary:

After evaluating suggestions from our community, we are considering a new social platform to bring together all of our e-NABLE resources and make them easier to find. Help us evaluate this platform by visiting hub.e-nable.org to share your feedback.

A video demonstration of the new platform can be found here.

Feel free to provide feedback here in this Loomio thread or by posting within the e-NABLE Hub.

Your opinions matter to us. We will review all of the feedback before the end of the month and consider all proposals that would improve the community experience. Thanks for your time and involvement - we couldn't do it without you!

I have nothing but positive comments about the new hub platform. It has the look and feel of both FB and the former Google+, and is very intuitive to use. The capabilities I would most use are all there......posting photos, comments, experiences, etc. I wholeheartedly recommend the community switches to the e-NABLE Hub, and hopefully we will obtain membership representing a significant portion of the global volunteer base.

Love it. Looks just like the platform we need to replace the old Google+ community page.

The best tool for chapters. If you are not using It yet, go there and try It.
You will not regret.

I love it! I also agree with the points made by everyone else.

I've tried to get in touch with the leader of our local chapter, but so far he's not responded. (For a couple of months? I think the address I have is his work email, so maybe he's no longer employed there??? I'm beginning to wonder, but I've not really tried searching the local phone book, or anything... so will check it out.)

Anyway, I recommended to him that we use it. I think it would even help us find local people to help. (As I hope to do!) So if I can't find him soon, I may request to form a new chapter, or whatever it takes to put Springfield, MO on the map.:sunglasses: )

This definitely seems good for our use. Much more user friendly than wikifactory and seems to mimic the function of google+. Notably, the dashboard where people can post their ideas, introductions and designs is just what we need. Plus you can login using google or facebook, so its not a challenge to login.
