@arkarjun thanks for clarifying that. If I get even one more person's support, I will seriously consider this option, else I may drop it for now.

En: Asking soorajkenoth and suneesh to offer an English translation here.

What if @rajudvindane and @shirish start talking in Marathi here in between?

If we really want to take care of people who can't talk Malayalam we have to create a team of translators.

Sorry for creating an inconvenience. My primary objective is to ensure proper communication. I can do it at the best in my mother tongue. Incidentally my target audience are also is able to understand Malayalam. So I used it.

@praveenarimbrathod
-What if @rajudvindane and @shirish start talking in Marathi here in between?- .... I welcome it.

First of all, language should never be a barrier. Second if they really want to know what is going on they can ask one of us to translate it.

What will you do if some who know only their mother tongue would like to join this group?

@soorajkenoth how would they know if what you speak is interesting or not? Some one will always have to speak. Here the target audience is not just people who know Malayalam. I'm not against using Malayalam, but how do you include other people in the discussion? This is a real problem of excluding other people in the group. Yours is just a hypothetical question. If the questions becomes real, we can find ways to solve it. I already suggested making translations teams. Having one problem is not a justification to creating another problem.

Here you can express your idea in your mother tongue and give the translation yourself in English for others to see. That way if this are not clear to them they can ask for clarification and anyone who know your mother tongue can use your original expression to explain it better.

Language is a tool of exclusion and we can't solve it by excluding some other people, the solution is by including people. What stops us from expressing in both languages? That way if people can't understand your ideas reading English, others can help explain it better.

Translating @soorajkenoth's comments in support of us contesting elections.

"I support this. This is not an aam aadmi movement. We never started anything looking at the number of people. This way (elections), we can spread our ideas and perhaps we can make a good change as well."

"@arkarjun @suneesh did you join this looking at our ideas or the number of people we have?"

And @suneesh responds https://www.loomio.org/d/tu97i2az#comment-72893

"I considered ideas only... I expressed my opinion. I have no interest in becoming a political party and contesting elections."

I am going to request ability to translate comments and discussions as feature addition in loomio. The solution is not to pick one language and exclude the other but to provide all languages and include everyone. Niyam Bhushan taught me this principle.
