Publishing the 'Methodology for Creating a FairShares Lab'

R Rory (FSA) Public Seen by 274

Dear FairShares community,

Recently, the FairShares Lab project (Erasmus+) completed its first 'intellectual output' on a methodology for creating a FairShares Lab (attached). We are now actively discussing publishing the methodology and have been quoted by one of the partners for the professional services required to turn this into a good quality book that can be published 'print on demand' (in the same way as 'The Dragons Apprentice' and 'The Case for FairShares'.

At a meeting in Sheffield, we started to discuss splitting the costs of production between project partners and the FairShares Association (which will be around €1,000). Can you provide your views below, then we can make a specific proposal.

Dear Rory,
In Slap we believe that publishing Methodology is an important step for all of us. It would be great to raise some money but if not, it’s only fair to share the costs among FSL partnership and the FS Association. It’s fine with us.

My best from my temp office at Ohrid,

Sonja

Dear Rory,

as we in Sheffield discussed, I agree with publishing the Methodology as a book. I'll have to check the costs with my boss. Roger will send us a partner-costs-chart.

Please delete Judit Bedőné Károly as a co-author, she wrote the section "blue economy" at the time, but it was no good and I reworked it completely.

Hi Rory

I'm just catching up after my holiday, but happy to support anything that is going to grow FairShares. Today I explained the FairShares model to one of the largest consumer co-ops in the UK, and they were impressed. I must admit, having explained it a few times now, to different people, it gets easier each time - but I'm sure I still have a long way to go :)

See you this weekend at UKSCS.
