There are several blockchain events in Paris between March 3rd and 10th, and I want to gauge which Givethers will be there!
March 4th Council of Eth Magicians (free)
March 5th-7th Eth Community Conference (€240)
March 8th-10th EthParis Hackathon (free)
Since EthCC is in the middle and expensive, there's the possibility that a lot of us are around with free time during those days, so it could be a great time for some Giveth deep diving. This idea has been passed around, but I want to see if we really should put energy into this because:
a) Ether is really low so it's hard for all of us to expend resources.
b) It's a good time for Giveth to lay low, and perhaps there isn't that much real work to do together besides team building (which is maybe more of an activity for times of plenty).
c) Griff won't pay for a big group Airbnb so if we were to go that route, we'd have to maybe raise funds for it through the Unicorn DAC. (While remembering, that people are still waiting for back wages to be hopefully funded thru the Unicorn DAC).
d) If we're gonna get any sort of group housing I want to be able to get on it ASAP to get a good deal.
e) If we're doing this and not gonna get group housing I want to start researching spaces we can work in together during the day.
Please know, all of the options are under the assumption that you are paying your own travel costs.

Don't think I'll be in town for EthCC (unless I should be?), but I will be around for ETHParis (8th onwards), if that is an option for consideration!

i would support the giveth intensive time if ppl are really into it, however i think it's smarter right now to lay low and save it for later!

I actually wanted to come for the deep dive and the hackathon (if we get accepted) and bring Tamara and Maya. When talking to Taylor from MyCrypto she suggested to get an airbnb together with Giveth Unicorns to make the living situation more baby friendly.

I had planned on going, and going for the extra option I just added. If Griff prefers we don't do this well then I'll go for whatever makes sense, he's our main Giver so he can decide on this. I just registered for ethmagicians (which costs €35) but if we cannot expense lodging then I prob won't go, not enough personal funds right now unfortunately.

I'm uncertain of circumstances. I'm down for group activities but need to check flights and find a bed. Ideally so as if like to do a dry run on the Hackathon and see what problems we encounter so we're prepared for the real thing
