Problèm of identity/connection

I am presently connected to Loomio under name xaviervz username xaviervz, with an email adress A. But when I try to connect with another computer on this same account xaviervz with email A, be it with password, be it whith link sent on email A, I reach a page where I am connected with xaviervz4 and member of none of my groups.
In the "edit profile" section, I can read :
* name xaviervz
* username xaviervz4
* email emailA

If I type a gmail adressl, one never used for loomio, and click "update profile", it consistently replies : "has already been taken"

With another non gmail adress emailB, it updates correctly.

If I try then to connect and type emailA, it asks me "saisissez le noms sous lequel vous voulez intervenir, et nous vous enverrons un lien de connection". (type the name under which you want to contribute and we'll send you a connection link)

What should I do?

Hi Xavi,

You must have more than one Loomio account; have you typically logged in with a third party provider, and started logging in via email / password?

thanks james for support. yes it might have been the case one time. but now even if I connect on another computer I m unable to connect to my original account, the one with which I am presently using. What should I try?

What I could try, is so: when I am logged under @xaviervz4 , I change the email adress and then I suppress (desactive) the account. The only problem is that in the profile both account, i.e. @xaviervz4 and @xaviervz are under the same name xaviervz. Should I go forward anyway?

I am still hindered by this. The consequence : I am not able to login with another computer. @gdpelican and the other friends, would you have any suggestion? Thanks!

It seems like you're logging into the wrong account. I've been able to confirm the email address (x******@l***.**g) is connected to the account that you're posting from. Do you have access to this email account still?

Yes, this address (x***@l.**g) is the email A I am referring to in the discussion subject above.

I am annoying you again, but so far I have no clue of how to find a solution to this probleme of identity/connection. Should I try to suppress @xaviervz4 ? I just discovered that this login cannot be contacted by one-to-one message.

Sorry to ask again, I am blocked in my use of Loomio, because I cannot access my account except with the devices with wich I am already connected. @gdpelican , is it possible or advisable to suppress @xaviervz4 ? Thanks!

@xaviervz Did you get my answer to your email? Looks like there's a typo in your profile's e-mail address for your main account.
