Hi thanks for inviting me Jose. I'm a co-op nerd that's passionate about place based development. I'm involved in a few cooperative projects... Probably most relevant is http://earthworkercooperative.com.au/ where the idea is to kick-start green manufacturing jobs.

Hi all, we are The Alternative UK (www.thealternative.org.uk), a political platform inspired by and associated with Alternativet in Denmark. We are VERY interested in technologies and forms of organisation that super-power localities and communities. We are developing a social-imagining method for communities that we would like to conclude with concrete proposals, particularly in the space of manufacture/energy/info-tech/food systems/housing, etc. And we are very eager to bring global examples to communities in the UK. See our Daily Alternative blog for more www.thealternative.org.uk/dailyalternative. Best Pat Kane
