#SocialCoop Toot-Up!

One idea to come out of tonight's meeting is to aim to have a "toot-up" gathering in which as many of us as possible commit to hopping on Mastodon during an hour and have some conversations! This'll be a great excuse for those who have not to set up their accounts, and for us to learn about each other a bit more!
In particular, it would be good to get #SocialCoop trending - if we can generate 20 toots in an hours with that #hashtag, we might be able to get it picked up by the trending bots.

Humble proposal: how about we define a clear topic for the next toot-ups? The first one was a very interesting free-for-all, but maybe we could try to address specific questions in the coming rounds?

@michelekipiel good idea! Perhaps given the timing, the #buytwitter campaign might be relevant to both talk about the pros and cons of large centralized vs small networked platform co-op nodes? Also probably a good chance to share the recent governance panel document, and talk strategy around how to pitch mastodon to campaign supporters post-launch...

I'd like to have a toot-up to discuss the #BuyTwitter platform co-op initiative for our next toot-up, and would like to do it prior to the May 22 vote, so we can discuss how to best support the campaign in its final days, as well as capitalize on the surrounding publicity to attract folks to Social.Coop.
