Looking for a good Forest garden documentary

RB Rakesh B Public Seen by 81

I have organised a local socially distanced film night in my area to help get more people interested in the potentially 4 new community forest gardens in Redbridge. I am not one for watching films and documentaries so totally out of the loop on good films etc. I typically still show farm for the future and the Martin Crawford documentaries that you can easily find online. Both are maybe 10 years old, so maybe it's time I upgraded my libraray. Can anyone recommend a good forest garden documentary. Is there anything on community forest gardens. Much appreciated.

Hi Rakesh

here's a couple of my favourite Forest Garden Films:

Forest Gardening | Living With The Land (UK)

and Happen Films' "An Invitation for Wildness: Thriving 23 year old Permaculture Food Forest" (AUS)

Wonderful, thanks for the suggestions. I will use the National Geographic one for sure. Given that in this project I am trying to inspire people in the UK/Europe to make forest gardens the tropical documentaries are maybe not so useful for me to show right now. Though I do work often in my motherland India (would have been taking people on tours of traditional forest gardens in Kerala during 3 months of permaculture and related courses if it we not for COVID), so useful to have these video's as well. Keep them coming .... Much appreciated

Have you seen the short Martin Crawford intro to Forest Gardening he did with National Geographic - people always seem to find it very inspiring when I show it! https://youtu.be/Q_m_0UPOzuI

There are indirect FG films within the movie 'Inhabit' which is a great film to show to inspire people generally about permaculture..

There's a few films I think about Robyn & Robert Guyton in New Zealand (must admit, I dont' really watch many forest garden films!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L74WkW1rWKU
