Collective design & continuous improvement of OuiShare’s governance

The topic of democracy and governance within OuiShare has been highly discussed during the last summit (see hackpad: https://hackpad.com/OuiShare-Summit-7-Live-Blog-fKiNRuU2Rao#:h=BARCAMP-OuiShare-Organization).
It was decided, collectively, to build a team whose mission would be to facilitate the collective building of a first governance scheme, designed to implement adaptive changes, and starting from our current management model and governance.

This post aims to build that team. This is a call to all those interested in taking part, to raise their hand in the comments section, and join us!
The purpose of this initial team is to start the conversation and facilitate the process; we’ll all work together on the content.

Since the summer holidays are upon us, we are setting a deadline of 3 weeks to get involved, so let’s talk by August 17th.

Step 2 will be to open a discussion (Loomio, Hangout) with the team, to decide on the method we want to use to enable the collective building process of that first governance scheme to move forward, and define the roles needed to drive the process.

I'm interested to join this team and work together.

As you know I have a special interest for governance and transparency and have been experiencing sociocraty, holacracy both in NGOs and companies.

I'll be delighted to bring my knowledge to the organisation.

I'm of course also interested to take part, especially as I'm getting involved also in designing the organization & governance model of Open Food Network, which has similar issues as OuiShare, so it will be interesting to see the parallels and inspire from both projects :-)

I am also interested in the topic, have to see how much time I have to contribute. I am currently reading "reinventing organizations" from Laloux which I would strongly recommend to all of you here (and in OuiShare in generell) to read (if not already done.
(More about this when I am through with reading :)

Thanks for launching the call for this team @myriamboure . Having been involved in the previous organization design efforts of OuiShare in the last 3 years, it's critical we finally create this permanent team (with of course non permanent members :)) that thinks about governance on a continous basis. I'm in too of course!
