Exploring a Code of Conduct for Members
Without rushing to decide that we must have a Code of Conduct for social.coop, many of us believe that one would be critical in maintaining a safe environment for discussion and creativity. To that end, let us discuss here the risks and benefits of a Code of Conduct and how one might be phrased. All are encouraged to contribut here.

Resources
- Geek Feminism wiki has the best criteria for what makes a good Code of Conduct that I've seen, with tons of examples.
- Loomio's Conflict Resolution Process and resources are both some of my favorites.
Why have a code of conduct?
- Why Excellence is Not Enough
- The FOSDEM Conundrum

Not in coming month unfortunately, full up! I'd be happy to look over and make suggestions/ edits if someone else can lay it out. Pretty simple building off of the examples provided by geek femme wiki

Those resources look great! Would definitely like to integrate NVC into our code and moderation process.

+1 to the idea of having a CoC. It's much easier to have one there at the start, rather than trying to get people to agree to something later. The existance/non-existance of a proper CoC is an important signal for who you want on your site.
