Approve/deny new registrations

DU Deleted account Public Seen by 30

Hi! I setted up a new instance a few weeks ago, but I found that the registration it's open to anyone who can get the URL and I'm not able as admin to approve or deny new registrations. Is there any way to configure that or an alternative that I'm not seeing? Thanks in advance!!

Hi @Juan Ignacio Torres, here is a help page about configuring group settings to control approval and denial of membership requests.

In brief, It comes down to this screen:

If you have shared the "Reusable invitaiton link" then be sure to click RESET to stop people coming in without approval.

Hope that helps!

Hi @Rob Guthrie thanks for your reply! I get what you say, I've already have the group private to approve or deny joining to it. But what I want is to approve/deny new users registration to the platform. For example if you get my instance link, you can join my loomio registering on it with your email, then probably you cannot see anything because the groups are private, but you could create you user and I cannot prevent that.
Thanks again!
