Agree with almost the entire statement except "It is our opinion that, due to the immense disparity in power and position, the Hon’ble Chief Justice of India cannot continue to hold office during the inquiry."

I do not think allegation/accusation is the stage at which someone must be forced to stop their profession. Whether they voluntarily choose to not continue till they are cleared is a different matter.

empowerment of women is very important for equality, so all pirates can do for this is a good cause and has reason.

I'd initially disagreed because it doesn't make sense to prevent someone from working just because they've been accused. But CJI has misused his position to thwart the accusation thereby implicating himself.

whether the accusation is true or not, the way it was handled in the court is unacceptable.

@akshay do you think CJI's actions were proper? Do you think he did not misuse his position? Your argument has merit if he had let proper procedure happen. The situation is different when he himself threw away all procedure including not allowing mentioning.

That's true. CJI should have just let other senior judges take over for his own case. His lack of restraint implicates him. I'm changing my vote.
