Disable Comments on own postings and reshares

I often only make a post to inform other about a special thing. The same for resharing. But i don't want comments on it. So I think it will be fine to have a function to disable comments.

First, one discussion on loomio is enough, there is no need to open two discussions with the same text. ;)
There is an open feature request and it does not seem like there is any disagreement but apparently, nobody is interested in working on this at the moment.
