Quorum is five Board of Directors Handbook
We have not spent much of our travel budget.
- 15k budget OSGeo Budget 2017
- 5k allocated to website website branding budget request
- 0.5k used by Venka in his duties as president
- 1.5k Argentina Participation (Maria) 1400USD
We have 8k to work with for these two proposed face to face meetings.

Funds are approved, thanks everyone for the transparency, and OSGeo for supporting our board members.
Thanks to venka for organizing logistics, we have the following requests:
- Helena: 1000USD as support for f2f and other responsibilities at FOSS4G-2017
- Maria: 1550USD as support for f2f and other responsibilities at FOSS4G-2017
- Venka: 1200USD as support for f2f and other responsibilities at FOSS4G-Europe 2017
- Vasile: 1000USD as support for f2f and other responsibilities at FOSS4G-2017
With this in mind I propose approving $5000 USD for board member travel. This is safely within our $8000 USD remaining budget.

While I agree in principle I would like to see a budget for this activity (capturing what assistance is needed, what board travel funds we have available, and getting a firm commitment from attendees so we have quorum ).
