It would be nice if I could paste in a bunch of dates into the time poll 'enter a time' field, and have them automatically separated out into individual options.

Presently if I paste in one date, like '20 June', it converts it to 20 June 2001.

I'm on a board that has a quarterly meeting rhythm, and so two days feels like too short.

Thanks for letting me make longer time polls :)

Next little thing. I started a time poll in a group. I go to Share (rather than announce, because not everyone is in the group yet), and I can't understand why I can see a disabled option to move/set the groups of this poll.

I just went to promote Loomio time poll to an admin person who doesn't already use Loomio — and realised that unlike Doodle, a new person does have to create an account/go check their email before they can create a poll. That feels like a barrier.

I made a 'share link' time poll today. Once I've emailed the link around, and gone back to the Loomio app, I kinda want to press a DONE button. Clicking the X at top right of the modal feels a lot like cancelling the poll…

Someone in my group started a time poll, with the 'Voters may add options' option on, but I can't see where I would add options.

This is a feature request specific to Time Polls, but really is probably relevant to all decision types.

As a facilitator/wrangler/convener, my biggest concern is that everyone has the right information. Preferably in a tidy package with just what they need, when they need it, no more or less.

So I just ran a stand-alone time poll. I put in 3 email addresses, separated by commas. I saw a status message saying something like "invitations sent", so I kinda trust that they went out, but I would love to be able to see a log of the actual messages sent to the actual people. Did Loomio understand the commas as separators, or did it send to one long invalid address? What info is included anyway? How does it look to my participants?

Thankfully, Loomio is smart and works good! The emails went out, everyone participated, we found a time that works. Next job: I want to make sure everyone has a calendar invitation (the only way I remember to attend a meeting is if it is in my calendar).

I go over to Google Calendar to start writing the invitation, then I think, hey doesn't Loomio do some calendar thingy now? I returned to the poll, looking for something like a "book this time" or "send meeting invitations" or "confirm meeting time" button. Oh... I need to press "Close" -- that technically makes sense because the poll is currently "open", but as a user I don't care about that, I just want to confirm the meeting time. (I think "everyone has participated" is far more salient than "your predicted decision-making time has elapsed".)

After closing the poll, I see a new button "Share outcome". Again... it makes sense when I think about it, but what I really want is to "Send meeting invitations" or "Announce meeting time" or something.

So I hit "Share outcome" and see this lovely form with "attach a calendar invitation" and nice extras like meeting agenda and location. Cool! And it has automatically picked the earliest time all the participants are available. This is pretty nice!

So I send out the confirmation to everyone... but I don't get a calendar invitation myself, so I have to go and create an event in gCal anyway. Again, my peace of mind would be significantly improved if I could see a log of all the notifications that have been delivered (especially if I knew which ones had been seen).

(As you can see, my head is in detail-polishing mode. Appreciate y'all @robertguthrie @gdpelican might be frying far bigger fish at the moment -- just wanted to write the story while the experience was fresh.)
