AGU Meetup

TN Tom Narock Public Seen by 430

It sounds like many of us will be attending AGU in a few weeks. Is there interest in getting together for an informal meetup? Perhaps a group dinner one night? This thread can be for anyone interested in trying to arrange something.

How about going out to eat after the Ignite on Wednesday?

Also... I will have SCADS of stickers to give people at the ESIP Booth!

Probability of me going to the AGU is zero, but for UK readers, the calendar at the Geological Society (https://www.geolsoc.org.uk/listings) is normally worth a glance.

I'm intending to attend at a lecture next week https://www.geolsoc.org.uk/EarthvsVenus17

Yes, I believe we should have a meeting. Why don't we set a doddle pool for this? I am sure that anyone of us going to AGU has several parallel meetings during those days

Something similar for EGU would be grand. I could help with this.

I'm sure there will be further relevant meetings and convocations of geological people. It's the sort of question that might be a worthwhile "sticky" discussion thread.

Yeah. We can pick up an EGU-related decision nearer the time. I'll be there, and we have the townhall meeting with AGU...
