Readings Selection
A thread to coordinate the selection of readings!

Dot voting on this type of decision doesn't work well (tried it in a different reading group, and we decided ranked choice works better), but what I prefer is to have it set to only rank the top four of the eight. The flow of the approved decision making process is in the description of the sub-group for reference.
Also, @michelekipiel, I'm going to edit the description of the poll to embed the link to the spreadsheet so folks can easily access the book descriptions.

You're too kind. Actually, this time I am confident we can set up a follow-up chat with George Cheney.

The original publication date is 1999. The Updated Edition is 2002. My library system has the original. Amazon.com sells the Updated Edition for $25. I wonder what’s in the update.

I just requested this via inter-library loan, so if it arrives in time to read, I'll be excited to join the discussion.

@michelekipiel I'd much rather be doing a dot-vote on this, since there are only one or two books I'm keen to read. Sorting eight into a hierarchy is more work than I feel like giving to the remainder. And might seem to support them.
