so sorry for late response: anyway well done - i think it's great as is. probably too late and no biggie anyway, but i was going to suggest to add a couple of words: .....ensuring the character and of our village is retained.

Missing macrons in the bold Paekakariki. I agree we probably don't need more on back (havent had time anyway). Once macron sorted I think it can be printed @markgalbraith

OUCH have written the website wrong: its paekakarikihousingtrust.org
(easy mistake but ouch)
I am presuming they are printed - if so so be it. I doubt anyone has the resource to twink '.nz' off hundreds...

Re our conversations about needing to be clear and set out what we have been doing and our intent for the workshop, this correspondence is interesting in terms of how someone (I don't know) reads what we're doing:
Hi John
This is completely incorrect. we are in the process of setting up a trust for Paekakariki taking this family as the first urgent project. The meeting next Sunday is in fact about the whole community having the chance to be involved in what might be the trust's forward work plan beyond this urgent cause. It is very important to is as a group of individuals that we allow for as much ownership of this as possible.
we are waiting to actually set up the trust until as you say all residents have a chance to have a say. The meeting next Sunday is about beginning that process.

Hi Mark,

Thank you for the correction.

I understand the trust you have set up is for the family of King-Warena whãnau and not for Paekakariki as a whole and the name in my option should reflect this please.

If it is to be called Paekakariki Housing Trust then all residents of Paekakariki should have had a say in whether or not to set it up.

Your list of questions is not really about Paekakariki but about King-Warena whãnau and this should be stated as such in my option.

Helping the King-Warena whãnau is a great way to help them but please say what it is.

Kind regards.
