An experimental mini-grant program.
Overview
39 people participated in our previous experimental non-binding poll on how to allocate the google funds
There were 2 big winners:
* Support EnablingTheFuture (111 points)
* Establish a mini-grant Fund (80 points)
Because the mini-grant fund could Support EnablingTheFuture (among other things) I'm creating this thread to propose and hopefully implement a first mini-grant program.
Please consider the Minigrant Program Proposal first.
There are currently two Proposals. If you think they're ready for Funding by Trustees, vote Agree!

Item 5 of e-NABLE STEM KIT- “What is eNABLE?” pamphlet/magazine - This is what we need to reach some specific groups. There's a lot of "offline people" on the medical community here in Brazil.

The proposal is to create an e-NABLE PMO structure to help plan, control, and deploy the projects approved by e-NABLE Mini-grant Program. The team will provide project guidelines and basic helpful project management structure to help the teams in charge of managing e-NABLE projects **archive their goals inside planned schedule and budget. **
Working with*e-NABLE Mini-grant Program* we will create a Proof of Concept and based on the results will be possible to define if this can become a fixed structure to support future e-NABLE projects.

Granting of funds needs governance that is fair to the community and to the recipient of the funds with a minimum of bureaucracy and red tape imposed on the people involved. This proposal sounds like a good way to start.

I agree with @jonschull. The idea is to mold the proposals in the voting time to archive the best outcomes. You should send an updated proposal @theo27.
