Are you interested in supporting and helping facilitate this space for open public debate on the topics being explored or for starting new public led debates & conversations? We aim to have two tables for open informal debate as well as a space for larger group debate.
Un-conference: Will technology enslave us or save us?
In parallel, but away from the busy main floor, come and join the ‘will technology enslave us or save us?' un-conference which will run daily throughout the week. Open to anyone, just sign up, propose a topic, ask questions on the day and then discuss with others in a relaxed and informal setting. This is a space to stop, pause and reflect, so we can try and make sense of our digital utopian and dystopian futures.

We're planning this via email and in the production meetings at the moment and have some ideas such as a rota of DMC contributors to help stimulate public debate, and the possibility of x3 short 20 minute presentations staggered across each day. Some changes to this after today’s meet - as we’re opting to replace the staggered 20min presentations to a loser schedule - see the wall at CMS for more info!

UNCONFERENCE SCHEDULE
Hi All,
So after a super successful day rearranging the UNCONFERENCE space, time didn't remain on our side in terms of finalising the scheduling board. I am currently collating everything that's been pencilled down/changed. The space has fast booked up and we are keen to keep some periods free for public led debate. Just before I finalise for the week ahead just a quick ask to contact me directly with any changes/requests ASAP via email or in person tomorrow. I'll be around from 10am onwards, but please be mindful that things will be super busy, so if you can't get me in person, send me an email please. Thanks.
