What should we work on in Portland. (repeated) Closed Fri 18 Aug 2017 2:20AM
Around July 1 the SPC, used Loomio to review our priorities for the Portland meeting. I've seeded a repeat-poll with the top four priorities that emerged. But everyone can express views and propose new priorities too.

Hello, I'm a medical student in Brazil. I've been following the e-NABLE community for some years and now I'm a oficial volunteer. My goal is to pursue orthopedics to keep extending my knowledge of biomechanics and I'm particularly interested in the area of hand surgery. In the future I wish to be able to work increasingly with reabilitation centers and professionals.

Hello, I'm studying engineering at Warsaw University of Technology and I'm co-founder of Students' 3D Printing Association. I am e-NABLE community member since April and so is my collegue Dawid from the Association.
Our first e-NABLE related project is modified phoenix hand - with springs from hair claw clips. Second one is a device dedicated to kids that want to swim, but don't have a wrist. We haven't done any hand for child in need yet, but we have a few parents interested right now.

Hi @chadcoarsey1. Portland happened in August. But there is a conference coming up in next month in Maryland. If you may be able to come, ask @mariaesquela for an update.

I'm from the UK; an automotive software engineer by trade. 12 months ago, I didn't really know what 3D printing was, but I heard a radio article about the work of TeamUnlimbited and I was inspired to join the e-Nable community, which has got me into the design/make world of 3D printing, and have made 2 Phoenix hands so far.
