If you are into basketball of course you will know what the NBA is. The National Basketball Association or NBA was born in 1949. It is a merger between the Basketball Association of America or BAA and National Basketball League or NBL. The Basketball Association of America (BAA) was organized in 1946. It challenged the existence of the National Basketball League.

If you are new into basketball, well basically, it is played by two teams. These two teams consisted of 5 players each in the court but they still have substitute players sitting on the bench. The goal of each team is to shoot the ball in each basketball basket or ring. The other team will play the defense side to avoid the ball in the ring. The rectangle court has different spots that when a player will shoot from that spot there is a corresponding score. There are set rules and regulations that will apply when a player is inside the court.

Of course each player inside the court has different roles such as the point guard must have great dribbling and passing skills. A shooting guard must have good offensive skills because he will work more on shooting the ball in the ring. The small forward must be taller compared to other players and can score, pass and most importantly can play on the rebounds. Same goes for the power forward, he will play mostly on defense power and take more rebounds. Lastly, the center, he must be the biggest and tallest among the others because he will play both on the offense and defense side.
