Time for the alternative film (working title)
This is a social movement film based on the feelings of recent solidarity in the pandemic and urging us to seek our own agency in civic life and imagine a better world.

These two projects could be combined to lead people towards solutions and organisations put forward by The Alternative and become the start of citizen action networks.
By taking the narrative into celebrating the mutual aid movement and enabling a new type of community spirit to emerge from envisioning, this could give some agency to how people come together locally to change their environment.

Just to give an update on this project.
Currently needs the help of a spoken word artist or poet who's style slightly fits the first draft.
anyone in marketing or communications to help with the video release.
footage of mutual aid networks. or anyone willing to help collect it from a few sources.
thats kinda in order of how much effort is needed for each so the last one wouldn't be much at all.

Just checking who we have in our 'team'. Haven't been in touch much so not sure who is working on what. Will have a bit more time towards the end of this week to chat about it. Wondering how to tag Ollie Bream into this conversation. We are also in discussion

Yeah so in terms of team I think its just me and I think @Maria is going to be helping out as well.
So i'm awaiting a conversation with her and we'll set out the next steps to gather footage and potentially a spoken word artist. Happy to check in at some point to see where we are.

Hi Alex,
Thanks for the update. I am in the process of moving house so there is no rush on my part. In fact it looks like we will be in this for a while so a slow and steady approach may be best. Am still thinking on how to make best use of the imagine better framing
and am hoping to find some partners to develop it with to increase its impact.
