Merchandise
PPIS have started using a merchandise shop on their site that run out of the Netherlands featuring clothing. They also have articles with the Pirate Logo. They have offered to supply us if we want. We will get a part of the price and we can offer a discount to our individual members (I really want there to be some tangible advantages to this sort of membership) I have also asked if they can supply pirate neutral items like stickers, flags etc.

I support the question, which best possible solution for PPI we find concerning a merchandise shop :)

Also, apparently there are a batch of PPI T-shirts somewhere.

I was not aware the PPLU option was still on the table. I had heard of it but understood the offer had been dropped due to lack of interest from national party leaders. .
The new shop does not supply things like stickers and flags that are neutral black and white (or purple) or in English but they are looking into. Sweden has a few but the page is difficult to navigate in English. The German shop is the best but won't ship outside Germany.
I there a document of what Sven is proposing?

Good Idea! I've invited both Sven Clement from PPLU and Gordon Thomas from PPDE to the board meeting today. Do you know, who is responsible for the PPIS Shop, Andrew? Can you ask him/her to attend the meeting today, too? So we may discuss this question regarding all possible solutions.

I was asked by the german PShop during the PP-DE GA this weekend if they could set up a shop for PPI. The advantage for the PShop would be that the revenue would directly benefit PPDE as they would get more state funding for every euro spent in pshop. I am glad that Gordon will join us tonight. I also understand that PPLU would profit in the similar manner then PPDE if they would run the PPI shop. The PPCZ have printed a batch of PPI T-shirts already... Given the conflicting interests I would think that a public tender process would be the most fair solution.

Last week during the PPEU assembly Sven Clement repeated an offer he made to have PPLU support an international Pirate Store and to be willing to invest up to 10k in stock up front. We would get the profit in the form of a donation from PPLU. I think a detailed review of both offers should be made before making any decision.
