Idea: Per-user Activity Feed

SP Steve Phillips / @elimisteve Public Seen by 79

About 5 times in the last 10 hours I've thought, "wow, this person makes a lot of great points; I wonder what else they've said, and I'd like a feed of new things they say as they're said."

Well, if each user had their own Activity page, or something like that, and not merely a list of the Groups said has joined/is Following, that'd do the trick!

Thoughts on other specifics?

Reddit is kind of like this; a user's "profile" page shows their Submissions and Comments.

Have wanted to use this more than once, and will most likely do so again.

I guess I kind of agree, but I have mixed feelings. I think that the act of following specific people can accentuate typical human tendencies towards groupthink and loyalties. However, any genuine consensus process subverts such tendencies.

An activity feed could help someone better understand another. This is a good thing.
