Engagement sub group meeting - August 2021

Hi @Elizabeth Lowe just been discussing ambitious local green initiatives with Susie and want to put it on the agenda. I don't want to edit and start passing around another version of your agenda document so I'll just note it here and bring it up in AOB.

(1) mini urban forests like this https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2020/jun/13/fast-growing-mini-forests-spring-up-in-europe-to-aid-climate

(2) green bridge over Stroud Green Road and Seven Sisters, parallel to railway

If we get support from the community engagement we should have it in the plan. I can't see the councils coming up with this by themselves, so this is exactly the kind of thing we should be promoting.

Thank you for doing this.

I like this letter; I like the tone and the content, and the questions, to draw people in.

Then we can put the survey with Elizabeth’s questions on the website for people to complete, with a free text box for slightly longer comments.

Unfortunately Sketch House are not hiring their hall out, but I can try Brickworks Community Centre on Crouch Hill, or possibly the Finsbury Park Trust office again, if they re-open in the autumn.

Sorry I will not be attending the meeting tomorrow as I have my son and his girlfriend coming to stay, and we will be celebrating his birthday.
