Re-balance contributions to HL++
Please follow discussion on #supporters channel
Hackland and HL++ are operated under separate leases. Hackland memberships subsidise the weekly rent.
Resident contributions at HL++ were set high to enable HL++ to be launched. Now that there is adequate monies coming in from regular member contributions we would like to have the contribution re-balanced to make things fairer.
Hackland membership fees currently account for $265 of $1,050 weekly rent for HL ++
We are seeking that this contribution increase $50/week to $315 per week for use of the workshop in the short term.

Increase contribution to HL++ by $50/week Closed Mon 21 Oct 2019 10:02PM
Agreeing will mean that an additional $50/week from memberships will go towards paying rent of 48c (HL++). Disagreeing will keep contributions heavily biased to residents.

I wish it to be first clarified under what rules Hackland is leasing the HL+++ space (though I am in favour of these contributions to be fair)

Under what model do we want Hackland+++ to run? Closed Tue 15 Oct 2019 11:02PM
Great ideas, thanks for taking part, here's my attempt at a summary from this:
1) lets have some irl meetings, I think this is universally a good idea
2) lets make the 6 hour rule clearer no matter what - it's not super clear what you should do or that you're responsible for putting stuff back
3) people are generally in favour for both sides of the space running the same (?)
4) area champions / teams
5) people are not in favour of one persion having control over the whole side
There exists an unwritten difference in the way each building operates - lets try and codify how we want +++ to operate (we could experiment with different models there if we want)

I thing being able to change the space is a core value of the Hackland thing

What’s Hackland+++, is it the same as Hackland++? Can’t find another way to comment on a poll.

Clearer 6 hour rule Closed Wed 23 Oct 2019 12:03AM
I propose changing the rule to read as shown here: https://github.com/HakLand/Constitution/pull/5/files
"Change and experimentation is more than welcome, even if you’re not sure how it will end up, but if any change to the space would take longer than 6 hours for you to put back as it was, please create a loomio proposal before doing it.
If people do not like the changes you have made, they may undo them or ask that you help put things back to how they were - it's therefore a good idea to first ask people and get them onboard with the changes.
Also, you can use anything in the space for anything you’d like - parts or as part of another project - but if it has a DO NOT HACK sticker on it please leave it alone because it’s probably important."

I am postponing (If I can figure out how) until the definition of HL++ running is clarified. Under which this discussion is to be persued.
