Co-working space(s)

One of the ideas discussed at the Summit was having co-working hubs throughout the region. I have begun looking for a place in Asheville that could possibly be a home for UniteWNC, CommonsWealth Institute, a consulting/freelance cooperative, and others, and want to engage others in a conversation around what this might look like.

Responding to some of the comments...The large space for co-working is what's available, along with the conference room on that same floor, a small room currently being used for private work, small meetings and storage, and the shared lobby space. To Marc's point about a business plan, I hear he would need to have that to proceed; personally, I don't, it's a business already at break-even, and one I started so I know the business and the market pretty well, plus have people who aren't currently using the space who likely would if I/we were there, but I would want to have others to co-manage it because I don't want the responsibility of being there every day, and given what likely would be a minimum of a year commitment.
