Anti-War Bill

SD Suzie Dawson Public Seen by 106

Perhaps after the anti-spy bill we need an anti-war bill.

Waihopai is involved in targeting operations like this

I support this idea with every essence of my being.

Perhaps Make War illegal too.

Even Make gun bunkers in each town controlled by someone/people that gives the owners guns within it; out only for valid reasons(hunting-pest control/target shooting) when needed. (just a thought)

Technically, it's already illegal but they're fairly weak and no one ever enforces them against the biggest aggressor.

War was made illegal by the League of Nations in 1926 and there hasn't been a war since.

War has been around since the dawn of man (when Cain first killed his brother Able) and world war 3 will begin within the next few years, whether we make it illegal or not??

Can anybody please confirm if the Internet Party has any other candidates besides Suzi and was the 11th of August the absolute last day to put your name forward??

To quote Ammon Hennacy,"Oh judge! Your damn laws! The good people don't need them, and the bad people don't obey them." which is pretty much the way I feel about wars.

You need a military because it only takes one bad egg to spoil the pot.

From an NZ perspective, maybe a good first step would be to specialise in disaster relief and medicine. We could keep our alliances that way, better protect the pacific from non military threats and ourselves in case of emergency at home.

Is the solution to this to have a policy to declare New Zealand neutral? Like Belgium, Netherlands etc? And/or to demilitarise?

No, but we would be M.A.S.H., Red Cross, Reconstruction, Earthquake relief, Fire Service, Ebola outbreak team, all wrapped up together.

For instance in Afghanistan we would be running a hospital right now and sending teams to pick wounded instead of massacring villages.
