Nigel, do you know how we can access the text from this afternoon's Hangout? Let's investigate doing something for #LIANZA14 Call 4 Abstracts: http://www.lianza.org.nz/news/2013/dec/9/lianza-conference-2014-tonoa-mai-call-abstracts

You can download the notes from the hangout. (I did). I'll get a version posted in the wiki ASAP. Just chasing another deadline at the moment. I attach a copy of what I downloaded - its in odt format.

I understand that the Ascilite conference (Nov 23-26 at Otago uni campus and at Otago Poly (http://ascilite2014.otago.ac.nz/) will have a stream for the presentation of case studies of best practice — which fits the reality, not rhetoric theme. The call for papers and workshops goes out at the end of March. It would be dead easy to produce the equivalent of "The Power of Open" (http://thepowerofopen.org/) that documented New Zealand OpenEd case studies. There's time to get Category A ethical approval (at Otago, this is required in order to be able to identify participants publicly). I'd like to do this for the U of Otago and Otago Poly, since I'm here and it would be a simple thing to do. Could we compile a list of a few people to interview/document at Auckland, Waikato, and elsewhere? I'm thinking audio, still image, video — a variety of media for a variety of channels (the conference being the one providing the excuse to do this in the first instance).
