Peter Macfadyen will introduce the session and three others who have unexpectedly found themselves in key positions in their local councils. They will take us through their stories and newfound wisdom.
The session will cover: why one might want to go down this route; key decisions on the route; and how functioning local democracy can be crucial in facing the climate emergency.
Short spoken sessions will be broken up with smaller group discussions and plenary.
