Potential biggest forest garden in Europe - in East London

I read about hopes of creating 'the biggest urban forest in Europe' have grown after developers agreed to a garden society's proposals in my professional magazine, the environment.

While this is still in the planning stage is this something we should get involved with? I think this could bring valuable learning about how the business case was/is being made.
